This digital drawing exercise was meant to explore how far the plan of an office space could be abstracted while still maintaining some vestige of architectural form and intent. The end product was an image produced by arraying the office plans into columns and extracting lines and volumes that follow a distinct figural language. The drawing was selected for the 2d3d-2 exhibit based on its potential to a dialogue taking place in architecture about the capabilities and meaning of digital media in drawing. / Line & figure study / Digital / Studio VI / Fall 2009 / Exhibited at 2D3D-2: Drawing in the Post-Digital Age / Woodbury University / Los Angeles, CA, May 2011
